Free Freight Special for Non-Freight Shipments

  • Applies to Domestic UPS Parcel Ground Service (Not Freight)
  • Applies to Parcel Post shipments incurring up to $25 of actual shipping cost. Shipments where the shipping cost exceeds $25 will have the full $25 deducted from the actual shipping amount
  • Applies to orders over $250
  • Special Handling Fee’s May Apply on Special Orders
  • Will not apply to orders that are split to avoid the cost of shipping

  • Do you ship internationally? Yes
  • How can I get a shipping estimate? Simply add your desired product to the shopping cart and then use the shipping estimator located at the bottom of the shopping cart.
  • Why is the Shipping Cost so High for a “Small Light-Weight Part? Many manufacturers have fixed minimum order requirements which applies a $10 fee to the shipping cost for orders totaling less than $100. We can normally work around this by combining multiple orders for separate customers. Therefore, if you are seeing what appears to be an outrageous shipping cost please call or emails us [email protected] and so we can help work around this for you.
  • How are engines and other motor freight handled? UPS motor freight is used for domestic LTL Motor Freight shipments on engines and other large items.
  • Can I ship to a PO box? Yes
  • Can I ship to an address separate from the billing address? Yes

 

Domestic Shipping Options

  • What are the Domestic shipping options? We ship domestic parcel packages (less than 150 Lbs) using the available UPS service’s. We ship UPS motor freight for LTL Motor Freight shipments on engines and large items weighing in excess of 150 Lbs.
  • What states/countries count as domestic shipping? The lower 48 Continental United States along with Alaska & Hawaii.
  • How much does it cost? Shipping rates are normally based on package weight and/or size for abnormally large packages.
  • How can I get a shipping estimate? Simply add your desired product to the shopping cart and then use the shipping estimator located at the bottom of the shopping cart.
  • How long will it take to get there? Shipping times depend on the postal code being shipped to. Typical times for UPS shipping range from 5 – 7 days for ground and then expedited as selected. Note: Products noted in the shopping cart as “Multi Ship” are being indicated as special order. Therefore, it is not uncommon that these products require additional shipping time. Please call for more information on these products as flagged during the checkout process.
  • Is expedited shipping available? Yes expedited shipping is available for the Lower 48 Continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico require an additional 2-3 days above the normal selected expedited service rate.
  • How is it packaged? Packaging varies from boxed small parts to crated engines.
  • How can I track my order? You will receive an email including your tracking number. Please be aware that orders containing more than one product are very often shipped in multiple shipments from different warehouses. Therefore if you only receive a portion of the order, please be aware that the remaining parts are likely still in transit.
  • How are freight and oversized packages handled? For shipments requiring additional shipping charges outside the normal rates, the customer will be notified before the order is completed and processed.

 

International Shipping Options

  • What are the International shipping options? We ship parcel packages (less than 150 Lbs) using UPS services, or we can ship USPS on International parcel packages weighing less than 70 Lbs. Both air and ocean freight shipments are required for large products (engines, sterndrives, and all other items weighing in excess of 150 Lbs.
  • Can all products listed on the website be shipped internationally? No. Certain manufacturers restrict the sale/shipment of certain products. If you place an order for any of these restricted items you will be contacted within 24 hours to refund the order. Please call for more information (405) 533-3812
  • What states/countries count as international shipping? Anything outside the continental United States.
  • How much does it cost? Shipping rates are normally based on package weight and/or size for abnormally large packages.
  • How can I get a shipping estimate? Simply add your desired product to the shopping cart and then use the shipping estimator located at the bottom of the shopping cart.
  • Are there import tariffs/customs? Import tariffs and customs fee’s are specific to each individual country. Performance Product Technologies itself does not charge any specific import tariff or customs fee’s.
  • How long will it take to get there? Shipping times depend on the country and postal code being shipped to. Typical times for UPS International shipping range from 4 – 10 days.
  • How is it packaged? Packaging varies from boxed small parts to crated engines.
  • How can I track my order? For UPS, USPS and DHL shipments you will receive an email including your tracking number. Please be aware that orders containing more than one product are very often shipped in multiple shipments from different warehouses. Therefore if you only receive a portion of the order, please be aware that the remaining parts are likely still in transit.
  • How are freight and over-sized packages handled? For shipments requiring additional shipping charges outside the normal rates, the customer will be notified before the order is completed and processed.

 

Core & Container Deposits

  • Core Charges: Core charges are commonly applied to remanufactured products when the availability of usable core products is low. In these cases the core charge is applied as a deposit at the time of the order and will be refunded partially or in whole if and when a good core is returned to the manufacturer. Engines returned with a cracked block can be beneficial as the manufacturer will normally assign some pro-rated value to any usable internal components, heads, etc that are returned. Please be aware that when returning the old engine to the manufacturer the return instructions supplied to the customer when their order is delivered, AND the cost of return shipping will be paid by the manufacturer.
  • Container Deposit: This deposit is applied when the manufacturer has chosen to ship the product in a returnable container. The primary reason for using a returnable container is to prevent shipping damage. In these cases when returning the container, the pick up and return cost will be covered by the manufacturer. The container return instructions will be provided at the time when the original order delivers.
