MIAMI – Yamaha Motor Co. and AB Volvo Penta Thursday announced a strategic alliance designed to utilize each company’s strengths to make both stronger.

The announcement was made at the Miami International Boat Show and builds on the announcement in December that Volvo Penta and Yamaha signed a technical agreement for the joint development of boat control systems for outboard boats.
