Corrosion is probably the biggest single challenge to the boating industry. There are no “inert” exhaust systems on the market however the coated products are the best alternative. Being new to boating here are a couple of good links in our tech library that should help you out.

thanks for the reply and the offer. I have a question. I live up near annapolis md and am new to boating on salt water. I’ve heard that the regular cast iron exhaust corrode quickly. Is there a way to keep this from happening on the cast iron parts? will the coated ones corrode at all? how about the aluminum ones?

The freight amount is the actual UPS freight amount we don’t up-charge on freight. 150 Lbs of products is a lot of weight and this is still considerably better including the freight versus other options. Ground freight runs about .75/lb and was .50/lb just 3-4 years ago.
