By using the serial number you will be certain you are getting the correct parts for your Sterndrive application. The online catalog is formatted so you can see the other related Sterndrive accessory parts in case you need anything else as well. Also the Mercruiser Sterndrive Parts Catalog will show you how many of each particular item are required, how many of that part come to a package and also if any particular item has been “Superseded” or replaced by a newer updated version of that particular Sterndrive part.
