Where Do I Find My Mercruiser Serial Number
Locating Your Mercruiser Serial Number
Serialized Mercruiser Inboard Outboard Engines and Mercury Outboard Motor Serial Numbers (Read More) are in the following format; 0W555555 beginning with the number 0 and not the letter O. The model of Mercruiser engine can be determined by looking at the last letters of the “engine block code” that is stamped in all complete longblocks by General Motors at the time of assembly. If the serial number, and/or model decals are missing, the engine code will help to determine the engine model. Send an email to [email protected] and we will be happy to point you at the location of your particluar engine block code stamping.
