There are various changes that were made on the 5.7L engine throughout the years. Listed below is a link that will assist you in choosing the correct longblock for you application. Technical Tips This engine comes complete with all associated tin-ware (oil pan, valve covers, timing cover). The engine does not include an intake, flywheel, balancer, or water pump. Disregard any of these components on the illustration.These engines are indentifiable by the (12) bolts used to fasten the intake manifold to the cylinder heads, with the two center fasteners being at the same 45 degree angle as the other 10 intake fasteners.

 

NOTE: This engine does have a provision for mechanical fuel pump.
