This engine is a replacement for MerCruiser, OMC, and Volvo applications. Cylinder block incorporates dual flat response knock sensor bosses and revised bolt pattern for new front cover. Water pump eliminates internal bypass. 58X crankshaft position encoder with digital sensor ensures accurate ignition timing throughout the operating range.
