This is a standard rotation Blueprinted High performance 262 CID long block with the following specifications;

GM 2 Bolt Main 0.40 over block, one piece rear seal, drivers side dipstick
Square and parallel decked
Align honed and main bearing bore
Cylinders honed on computer controlled machine to within .0002
Straightness and roundness
Cylinders are sonic tested for thickness

Blue print premium cast iron crankshaft
GM heavy beam rods resized and clearance improved
150.000 psi rod bolts
Keith Black Hyperuetectic pistons
Hastings moly rings
Rotating assembly balanced within 2 grams
Melling high volume oil pump
Flat tapped hydraulic lifter .457 intake lift, .457 exhaust lift

This engine has been designed to re-use the stock distributor and a 600 CFM Edelbrock vacuume secondary marine carb. 91 Octane is preferred.
