Single Speed - Pleasure Duty
Marine Transmissions
PPT offers a wide range of single speed transmissions from a ZF5M rated for up to 26hp to the ZF7550 rated for up to 3860hp. The pleasure duty transmissions are designed for highly intermittent operation with continual change in speed and power. The average operating hours are 300 hours per year for mechanical gear boxes. Conventional applications include private non-commercial, non-charter sport/leisure activities.

ZF Marine warrants their product line for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of commission for pleasure craft and for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of commission for commercial use. Velvet Drive warrants their product line for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of commission for pleasure craft and for a period of six (6) months from the date of commission for commercial use. This warranty shall not apply for part subjected to misuse, negligence, damage in handling or shipping, modification or alteration, improper maintenance, or use beyond the products rated capacity or in any improper manner. |
